Allen Ackerman DDS
Dr. Ackerman graduated from Queens College and received more dental training form the New York University College of Dentistry. He performed his dental residency at Goldwater Memorial Hospital, New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation. He continues to increase his knowledge and education by taking courses and classes including implant prosthetics, esthetic dentistry and endodontics. He is certified in Lumineer placement and Invisilign. He has been practicing dentistry since 1978, and has been with the Dentists' Office of the Hudson Valley since 1983.

Dr. Ackerman is a member of various different dental associations including; the American Dental Association, the Ninth District Dental Society, the New York State Dental Association and the Duchess County Dental Society. Being a member of these associations gives his patients the confidence that he is keeping his knowledge and training sharp as well as helping to come up with new techniques.

Dr. Ackerman lives with his wife and children. He has one son and two daughters. They currently live in Poughkeepsie. He loves running and cycling. He has also ran several marathons and participated in century bike rides. He also loves to ski and travel.

Donald M. Toporoff DMD
Dr. Toporoff's specialty lies in periodontics. He is currently certified in placing and restoring dental implants. In 1985 he graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He then in 1988 completed his residency in periodontics at The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Toporoff continues his education by taking courses on topics in: bone grafts, dental implants, TMJ, soft tissue grafts, and regeneration. He also participates as a member of the American Academy of Periodontics as well as the American Dental Association. He has been practicing since 1988 as well as been a staff member at Dentists' Office since 1993.

Dr. Toporoff is married and has two sons. They currently live in Westchester. In his free time he loves to be involved in his children's sports activities. (They play hockey and soccer).

Erin Prunty DDS
Dr. Erin Prunty is the most recent dentist to join our staff in General Dentistry. She provides patients with a wide variety of dental services. She was raised in Hudson Valley and graduated from the University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2008.

Dr. Prunty was able to complete her General Practice Residency at the V.A. at Castle Point. She participates as a dedicated member of the American Dental Association, the 9th District Dental Society, The New York State Dental Association and the Duchess County Dental Society. Dr. Prunty is has always been committed to excellence in dentistry and always does her best to make sure her patients feel comfortable.

Joseph Muscatiello DMD
Dr. Joseph Muscatiello graduated from Tufts University in 2006 and was able to complete two years of General Practice Residency at Stony Brook University Hospital. He is currently certified to place Invisalign. He completed course that lasted one year on Implant Placements at New York University. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral
